Inception & Design Consultation

A7 Design offers an initial free of charge on site design consultation providing guidance on the potential of your property. Whether that requires extending the existing footprint, reworking existing spaces or a new build to achieve your requirements in the most practical and cost effective manner possible. 

Pre-Application Discussions

If deemed beneficial a Pre-Application Enquiry or meetings with the Development & Planning Authority to more clearly establish the feasibility of a project may be undertaken prior to producing the required information for a full formal Planning Application. In some cases where the works are minor in nature, exemption ordinances may apply. 

Measured Surveys

Under taken with precision to produce detailed and informative ‘as built’ drawings of existing structures and topography, referred to as ‘Survey Drawings’.

Concept Design

Free hand sketches, technical drawings, and 3D visualisation utilised to evaluate and refine design options. 

3D Modelling & Virtual Reality

Providing an accurate and realistic representation of proposals which assists clients, contractors, the local authorities and Planning Application processes.  

Planning Applications

Production of Planning Application Drawings and associated correspondence required by the local authorities for a formal submission to achieve Planning Permission.

Building Control Applications

Production of Detailed Working Drawings and specifications for a formal submission to achieve Building Licence Approval.

Design Development

Production of further bespoke details, detailed working drawings and specifications for construction.

Tender Procurement & Evaluation

Utilising A7’s technical drawings and accompanying documents, tender packages are produced for issue to contractors to obtain a cost for your project.

Contract Administration

Whilst we offer this service to any client, it is primarily larger projects that require a building contract to be professionally administered. Our role being to act as a intermediary or 'middle man' between the contractor/s and the employer. Works at this stage include overseeing and monitoring site works, liaising with specialists and contractors, processing payment requests and generally monitoring the budget and quality on a monthly basis.
